i used a macro lense attachment - then got very, very close to the dandelion.... lol... prob ended up laying on the ground... even without a special macro lense, most digital cameras have a macro mode...
then i used picasa to take the color out - and i played with the contrast, highlights, etc... but just a bit....
i think it's important for even us non-artists/non-creative types to have some kind of outlet for expression....i am proud of my photos - but i keep it in perspective..
technology helps us here - providing us the tools to become competent fairly easily...
were i using film, i doubt i would take photos - mistakes would be too costly - and the whole process too time consuming...
p.s. i appreciate all your comments. blogs, if not the entire internet is the world's most comprehensive work avoidance scheme ever. in fact, regarding successful blogs - if reading/writing a blog is better than working, it is successful - if not, the blogger ought hang it up!!!
