yeah - it is...it's become a household favorite...although my one daughter speculates is some kind of govt mind control,,,
the funny thing is if you wait long enough, a link appears (very quickly) to subscribe to a newsletter and if you click on it, an error message displays (on purpose, i believe) - i'm thinking of using it as an humorous example in my web dev class as it's a great parody of flash intros and other stuff that values fluff over functionality and content...well, that and it's good for a laff
there are some sites that use flash effectively to enhance their message, or to entertain - and that's great...much of the usage of flash only serves to distract and waste bandwidth...you're right - it's fun for the developer, but no one else - esp on sites where you have to view it everytime...

oddly enough, the wheels are already started spinning on that - involving our most beloved cat...
